Egg donation & Egg sharing
We are happy to provide quotations for both altruistic, known donor and egg sharing IVF on request.
In the UK patients who require donated eggs often have a long time to spend on waiting lists. Despite the best efforts of clinics to recruit altruistic donors, UK regulation and removal of donor anonymity often results in delays of up to 2 years before a suitable donor is identified.
At The Private Practice we have an arrangement with the UKCFA and are able to provide individual patient care plans enabling you to access treatment with virtually no waiting list.
This is possible as the clinic based in Northern Cyprus is not bound by UK regulation and is able to offer financial compensation to the egg donors, thus increasing the number of women who volunteer to donate. Each of these donors is subjected to the same rigorous screening and checks as in the UK. You can find out more about UKCFA on their website www.ukcfa.co.uk
The process enables initial consultation, screening tests, counselling and ultra sound monitoring of the cycle to take place in the UK, thus requiring couples to make only a single trip to Northern Cyprus for the fertilisation of the eggs and embryo transfer.
The costs of treatment are calculated by adding the costs for the UK components which includes the medication, together with the costs of the Northern Cyprus clinic. Obviously patients need also to allow for flights, accommodation and transfers during their time in Cyprus and we would be happy to recommend a budget for you.
